At the macro level
Prehistoric men emerge from the caves and build villages. Tribes are established, and dominated by alpha males. Existential competition is ripe and other tribes represent danger.
At the micro level
The 2-year-old becomes aware of others and the immediate surroundings. The child begins to move away from the ” Me ” and focus on its surroundings: family, caregivers, nursery.
